Enjoyed our evening at Madison Social… the place has a very New York vibe to it… love that! Drinks were great… food too! Our server Alexis was very nice as well! Will definitely come back!
July 2025 Madison Modern Social This place recently opened. The menu has a wide selection of foods. I noticed most of them were on the spicy side. But, from the woman who doesn't eat spicy, mine went down easily with no fire hydrants needed. The dining room only has pictures of women on the walls. Yet, if you go down the hall towards the restroom, it is male and female pictures. I didn't appreciate the female pictures only in the dining area. The place is a bit dark. They needed to turn the lights up a bit more. Someone ordered Chicken Parmesan, and a lot of grandma's turned over in their graves ! No pasta of any sort was served with it. Comon, how expensive is pasta. This was extremely disappointing. John was our server, he made our meal absolutely amazing. John was on his game, hecwas gives what we needed without us saying one word. Not sure where he stands, but should be the head waiter. The own does wonder around and he seems to be pleasant. Things that blew me away, The wood door going into the dining room. Along with the bar. This place does have a private dining room . Plentiful parking. For 2 people with 1 drink, no appetizer, 2 meals, shared desert our bill came to $110. Which I thought was okay, due to John's service . Give the place a whirl.
We recently visited Madison Modern on a Thursday night. We had dinner reservations and were seated pretty quickly. Our server Amanda was amazing. She was really attentive and knowledgeable about all of the menu options. When we dine with larger groups we don't always have a great experience but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back. We ordered a bunch of starters and mains. Our favorites were the calamari, the sushi and the pasta dishes. 10/10 recommend!
Didn’t know what to expect going in but glad we have this type of a restaurant in the area now. We shared a few things as pictured and all were quite delicious (definitely recommend the beef tartare and short rib quesadilla). The place itself has a nice upscale ambiance and service was as expected. The only caveat worth mentioning is that the entire order has to be given at the same time and personally I prefer to not decide on everything I’d be having right away.
Our server Will was absolutely fantastic. He was very attentive and polite. My husband and I started off with drinks Moscow Mule and Gin w/ginger ale, both pretty good. For starters we shared the chicken nuggets and a Caesar salad, absolutely delicious! The Caesar was our favorite of the two, but the nuggets were definitely tasty as well. I ordered another drink and got a lemon drop martini this time, wow very tasty 100 recommend. For our entrees I got the pork chop and he got the Wellington, both with sides of mashed potatoes. The Wellington was good, but lacked in flavor in my opinion. The winner was the pork chop. So much flavor and tenderness. The mashed potatoes were absolutely delicious as well, very creamy. I can’t wait to return to try more items.
Honestly, the Vibe was great and so nicely decorated and such a bold look to the place which I loved! For old bridge, NJ- It’s nice to have a trendy place around us in Central NJ!!! The apps were great- We ordered so many Apps and the Steak tartare & the bacon were my favorite. However, main dishes did not blow me away at all.. I was kind of surprised since I expected better. The Canneloni and chicken Parmesan weren’t very good at all- It was not the tastiest piece of chicken parm I’ve had to be honest & the Canneloni consistency was more like eating Enchiladas.. it was pretty weird. For the dessert, The baked Alaska was really good but the Zeppoles with Fruity pebbles were awful. I was an actually excited about these, but I honestly had trouble finishing one whole Zeppole.. it just did not taste good. Mind you- I looooove fruity drinks & I got this Winter Vacation drink, which I couldn’t really take two sips from because it was so soooo beyond sweet and there was liquid sugar all over the cup which was all sticky lol I just changed it for a Lemon drop martini which was fine.. was expecting better drinks tbh The service was great & Maybe coming back in a few months would help since this was only their third week of being open! I am also an influencer myself (@nardinemarie) And would have loved to collaborate with Madison Modern since I do this as my job.
This place genuinely blew me away. First of all the door when you walk in makes you feel like you’re entering a palace it’s absolutely massive. When you get in the place is so spacious and the design of the bars and honestly everything is stunning. Coolest bathroom I’ve ever been in in my life. As for the food and drinks I expected nothing less than exceptional and that’s exactly what I got. The appetizers are creative and simple at the same time. I’ve never had a gourmet chicken nugget but now I don’t wanna go back to Tyson. Cocktails were incredible as well the beekeeper one being my personal favorite. A must try is their burger probably my personal favorite in the area. They also have a built in DJ booth which I have yet to see in action but this place is going to be absolutely rocking on any given weekend. Overall I was actually in awe of the setup and ambience and I know this is going to become one of the hottest places to be on any given weekend going forward.
Madison Modern Social is new restaurant located in Old Bridge NJ. The decor is very sophisticated and well done. The drink menu features some well crafted, creative drinks for any palate. They have a great menu featuring steaks, seafood and a few pasta dishes, in addition to some shareable dishes, sushi rolls and appetizers. Some brand new restaurants need time to get the kinks out, but this place was up and running and fully prepared from the start. The wait staff and bartenders are friendly and super helpful. This place is a really good time! I highly recommend!
